Three Excellent Weather Apps

Three excellent weather apps.

NOAA News is free and has the Tyler 162.475 station. Recommend if you don't have a hazard radio. (does not alert you, but it's free)

Imap usually goes off just before the code red warning. You can program several locations (i've got College Station in so I can keep an eye on my daughter and Tyler for some friends over there). It cost me $9.99 about 4 months ago but it's on sale for $4.99 until 5/23. When it goes off (it's loud enough to wake me) it brings up the radar and information from the NWS.

RadarUS SuperRes Radar HD costs $2.99 but its hi-resolution radar is unmatched. you can really see the detail when it counts. The only problem I've had is being in a low signal area with a couple bars 3g. It is a data hog and takes time to load. You also don't have to choose a radar site, just scroll and zoom as you please.
